Health & Safety

The Havering Fencing Company is committed to safe working and utilizes in–house and external training to ensure all operatives and supervisors receive the best possible industry guidance.

Every operative carries task related safety method statements, and generic risk assessments relating to all of our likely operating methods of work, as are C.O.S.S.H. assessments available to all employees.

Site specific method statements and risk assessments are prepared by our site supervisors and provided to the operative when extraordinary hazards are likely to be encountered.

Pre-start risk assessments are provided to the lead erector in every gang which are carried out prior to starting work, these assessments are necessary to reflect any changes in site conditions that may have occurred.

We employ external Health & Safety consultants to ensure our policies and arrangements are always current and reflect the ever evolving construction industry requirements, and who carry out regular audits and report accordingly.
